SSR Degree College: Curriculum
Bachelors in Physical Sciences
Mathematics, Chemistry & Computer Sciences (MCCs)
M.C.Cs is three year under graduate course which is combination of maths, chemistry and computer sciences. SSR is the first college in Nizambad Dist. Which has initiated introduction of this course. Computation Chemistry is a branch of chemistry that uses computers to assist in solving chemical problems. It uses the results of theoretical chemistry, incorporated into efficient computer programs, to calculate the structures and properties of molecules and solids. While its results normally complement the information obtained by chemical experiments the information obtained by chemical experiments, it can in some cases predict hitherto unobserved chemical phenomena. It is widely used in the design of new drugs and materials.
Mathematics curriculum includes Differential Equations and Solid Geometry. The Chemistry curriculum includes Inorganic – S-Block Elements, P-Block Elements, OMCs, Organic – Structural Theory of Organic Compounds, Alkanes, Alkenes, Alkyns, Cyclo Alkanes, Arens. Physical and general chemistry. Students also undergo a practical training course in an application package in MS-Office and also C-Languages programming techniques.
